Overview

The Guolbba is located in Laanipalo, at Luppotie 5. The cottage was built in 2012.

The cottage is spacious, cozy, and well equipped. There are two bedrooms downstairs, both with twin beds. The kitchen and living room are in one space, with the living room boasting a high ceiling. On the spacious and high mezzanine are two beds. The front terrace is partly decked.

The cottage has good connections to the ski track and snowmobile track. The lit ski track between Laanila and Saariselkä is 440m, and the lit outdoor path 140m from the cottage. The snowmobile track runs 250m from the cottage. Saariselkä center is about 2km away. The distance to the airport is about 25km, and 32km to the center of Ivalo.

We maintain and clean the cottages mainly ourselves. Doing this we ensure that our guests are always welcomed into a clean and tidy cottage.

Pets are strictly prohibited.

The word Guolbba is Sámi, and means a taiga forest floor.

Facilities

The cottage has a fireplace, electric sauna, and an automatic air ventilation system.

The kitchen is well equipped, and includes tableware for at least six guests. The kitchen has a large fridge and integrated freezer, ceramic stove top, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, water kettle, toaster, electric mixer, and waffle iron.

Other amenities include WiFi, two televisions (one with Maxivision-channels), washing machine, an iron and ironing board, and blow dryer.

For the drying of clothes there is a drying battery and two blow dryers for shoes. There are also a high-chair and potty for the smaller guests.

For winter, the cottage has a kick-sledge and sledges.

The rental price includes final cleaning, firewood, toilet paper, kitchen roll, baking paper, aluminum foil, cling film, seat covers for the sauna, hand soap, dish washing liquid, and washing detergent. Bed linen and towels are at an additional price of 14 €/person.

The advance payment of 25% of the rental price is due one week after the reservation, and the final payment is due six weeks before arrival at the destination.

When booking, the cabin's booking terms will be sent to the person making the reservation. Once the final payment has been made in full, the renter will receive the cabin instructions, which include details such as how to collect the keys.
