Overview
Villa Silba is located in Finland's northernmost municipality Karigasniemi, Utsjoki, right at the river Inarijoki.
The lot of the property is bordered by Torvokoski of Inarijoki, which is known for its fly fishing. On the river bank there is a hut and fireplace. The backyard terrace boasts spectacular views to the river, which separates Finland and Norway.
About 8km north of the property, the river continues as Tenojoki, which runs all the way to the Arctic Ocean. Inarijoki has several sandy beaches, the closest of which is about 1km away. It is also possible to swim in the river straight from the backyard. During the dark time, it is possible to see the northern lights from the back terrace, or even the living room windows.
The owner has their salon at one end of the property, although it is not in operation whenever there are guests at the property.
There are several fells in the Karigasniemi area, the most known of which is the Ailigas fell. The fell top boasts spectacular views to the Kevo National Park, Muotka fells, and far to the Norwegian fells.
Activities here include fishing, hiking, berry picking, mushroom picking, hunting, skiing, and snowmobiling.
The distance to Nordkapp in Norway is 253km (around 3h), Alta 216km (around 2,5h), Lakselv 80km (around 1h), Utsjoki 110km (around 1,5h), and Ivalo 140km (around 1,5h).
Facilities
The house is well equipped with six beds. There is a kitchen, three bedrooms, a fireplace room, utility room, two toilets, and a spacious shower and wood heated sauna. The bedroom windows have mosquito nets. The yard is neat and tranquil.
The amenities include, among other things, a Wi-Fi connection, a television, and a washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are dishes for at least six people. The kitchen features, for example, a ceramic cooktop, a multifunction oven, a large/tall refrigerator, a separate tall freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle, and a toaster.

The rental price includes final cleaning, firewood, toilet paper, kitchen roll, baking paper, aluminum foil, cling film, seat covers for the sauna, hand soap, dish washing liquid, and washing detergent. Bed linen and towels are at an additional price of 14 €/person.
The advance payment of 25% of the rental price is due one week after the reservation, and the final payment is due six weeks before arrival at the destination.
When booking, the cabin's booking terms will be sent to the person making the reservation. Once the final payment has been made in full, the renter will receive the cabin instructions, which include details such as how to collect the keys.
